City of Awesome!

Okay, so I've read the City of Bones before, and I loved it, until the very end (I will not spoil for you guys). And so, I was kind of forced to re-read the book and I loved it, excluding the one part but I will get over it. So, here's the City of Bones. Enjoy!

Title- The Mortal Instruments Series- City of Bones
Author- Cassandra Clare
Rachied Rating- 4 stars
It was a regular weekend night at the Pandemonium club when Clary noticed this girl that was possibly to beautiful to be true, and a boy following her spell. The two went into a closet and Clary and her best friend Simon went to go check it out after two more men went into the closet after the couple. Simon couldn't see these people, only Clary could and so with Simon behind Clary went and saw the first man being beaten to death by one of the other men, the blonde one. After the follower died, she screamed at the two men and girl who they were. They said they are Shadowhunters, destined to kill demons like this man who disappeared after he was killed. Only people with Shadowhunter blood, or have been told about demons and Shadowhunters can see them. Soooo, Clary was taken to an institute where these Shadowhunters stayed and studied demon killing. Later in the book when Clary's house is invaded by demons that took her mother on the same night as the killing, these Shadowhunters promise to help her find Clary's mother. Will they ever find Clary's mother and find out the mystery behind Clary's sight? Will Clary ever tell Simon? IMPORTANT QUESTIONS!! Plus, also find out what I am extremely mad about but love the book too much to let it go, by reading City of Bones!

Twilight Alternate Ending

This is a video about how Twilight should have ended. It's hilarious, and even though I love the books after Twilight, the person who made this video does have a point. Bella wouldn't be complaining 24/7 about her situation in life.

Peace, Lesbians, and it stinks

This book stinks. At first the older sister is writing a letter to her little sister from summer camp. It was a great letter and I was excited to start reading the book. Yeah right! The very first chapter consists of talking about a fourteen year old's breasts and how the older sister made out with a bunch of girls at summer camp, which made her turn lesbian and make up un-like shaving her legs. So, I put the book down and said totally not my type of book. Adios Lauren Myracle, I tried your books, they stink. End of post.

Max, from the Maximum Ride Series

Just finished the fifth and second to last book, possibly, in the Maximum Ride Series. I have to say that I think I fell in love with the characters all over again!

Author- James Patterson
Rachied Rating- 5 stars!
This book was awesome! Max and the kids are being hunted by this scary Chinese dude. Maximum doesn't take him seriously when he kidnaps her and says he has wild and crazy powers. Well, she will when he mom ends up missing! Dr. Martinez, her momma, was last seen in a video clip sent to the navy. It had her underwater with a bunch of nuclear boxes!! OH NO!
The relationship between Max and Fang improves, but Brigid is still trying to get into the triangle, sadly. Why can't she leave the two love birds (teeheehee! Get it? Because they're birds!) alone?
Then, Angel keeps going into the water since she has underwater gills, and nonstop bugs Max about her trying to see if she has gills or not. Birds with gills? Interesting....
Anyways! Read the fifth book of the Maximum Ride Series, of course, only after you have read the other ones, because really, I hate it when people start a book series off the course. HOW CAN YOU PEOPLE DO THAT!? It hurts my feeling sand the books :( Teeheehee! Thanks!

Mockingjay!

Mockingjay is here! Hooray! Although, it could have been much better, sadly.

Rachied Rating- 4 stars

Katniss Everdeen is in District 13 with Gale and her family, but is thinking only about Peeta, who is stuck in the capitol's hands (NOOOOOOOO!!! -sorry, had to put in my input). Katniss also has to deal with the problem of whether or not to become the Mockingjay (top person who influences everyone) in the rebellion against their Capitol and the problems that the districts have faced, especially 13 and 12, since, well they went ka-poohie.

When she finally does agree to become the Rebel's Mockingjay and fight against Peeta (her lover, somewhat?) she has a couple of conditions and the rebels may or may not like it. Want to know what those conditions are and how serious they are to District 13, or not? Then read the third and final (again, NOOOOOOOOOO!!) book to the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins.

I don't want to spoil anything, but Mrs. Collins, if you ever read this, I hope you make an alternate ending because why does it have to end that way for Peeta!? WHYYYYYY!!!??? Thanks!

The Hollow is totally HOLLOW!!

Okay, so I thought that this book was going to be all cool and awesome. But it was so weird!! Here, I'll explain...



Abbey lives in Sleepy Hollow, yeah the REAL Sleepy Hollow. And just recently her best friend Kristen was declared missing. So, after three months of Kristen being missing, her family and the cops give up and decide to have a funeral with no body. Abbey is very mad, sad, and confused. She starts school with no best friend by her side to go to her first prom with, no best friend to fight off the bossy cheerleaders, and no best friend to talk to about her best friend dying.



During Winter Break, Abbey goes to her family's cabin before the holidays. When they come back her parents tell her that they found Kristen's body in the river where they used to play at as kids. While at Kristen's funerl, where there is her REAL body now she meets Caspian, a guy with snow white hair and a black streak through it (for some reason it totally scream emo to me :D).



Now, this is the crazy part, Caspian agrees to help find out why Kristen was down there and why she died and everything, and of course Abbey and Caspain get a little romance going. Then, it goes into their relationship more than why Kristen died, and then Abbey meets these old people that live in the cemetary and they turn out to be completely crazy. Then Caspian goes crazy, and then Abbey goes crazy. Finally, I go crazy because I'm like "WHAT!!?? WHAT HAPPENED TO FINDING OUT WHY THE GIRL DIED!??" Then the book ends

with them not knowing what happened to Kristen and Abbey moves away!???!!

SO, I did not like the book at the end or somewhat the middle. And, personally I think the author needs to re-learn hersixth grade and seventh grade English.

Maximum Ride Series!

I've always thought that the Maximum Ride series was about a boy who wanted to save the world. Well, it's not! It's an awesome GIRL saving the world who is 2% bird!! And...well, read the Maximum Ride Series!!

Title- Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment
Author- James Patterson

When you're a genetically enhanced kid, living life in a dog crate smaller than a German Shepard, it's kind of hard to live for 10 years of your life growing up in that cage. But, Maximum Ride did! Max, and her friends are all regular kids who are not quite regular. Why? Well, because they are 2% BIRD!!! These kids have wings and can fly higher then any plane, and they can also defeat any human, in fact, they can defeat anything. The only thing standing in these kids' way are half-dog men who are super ugly and mean, and called Erasers! Once the kids escaped the School (the place with the dog crates they were raised in) they begin to live on their own, for four years in the middle of nowhere just waiting for the Erasers to come and try to kill them! When the Erasers do come, they take Angel, the youngest of the pack (7 years old)! Can Max (a 14 leader to the pack of bird kids), Fang (the quietest 14 year old boy ever), Iggy( a blind 14 year old boy), Nudge(an 11 year old girl who talks nonstop about having a regular life), the Gasman(don't ask why he's called that, an 8 year old boy) save Angel?

There are many books after this one in the Maximum Ride Series, read them all!!

The Dead Is Series

Title- Dead is the New Black
Author- Marlene Perez
Rachied Rating- 4 stars
You have three sisters, each with special powers. You have a cheer coach, who's obsessed with her cheerleaders not getting hurt. The cheerleaders, including the main sister, character, and you have the vampire sucking the all girls in the towns own blood. This book was just okay, I recommend not reading the next one's in the series though because...

Boyfriend might be a werewolf, girls never sees boyfriend, meets new guy, blah, blah, blah. Just, don't read it.

Spring Getaway!

This book is just a big old jumbled jambled mess of four teens and their point of views. The book tries to revolve around a girl named Jenna, but seriously, it's just a mess. No one should read Tangled. No one!

The journey of the clique begins when Lisi Harrison goes back in time to make a prequel about the Clique. Read if you're a new incoming fan or an old one reborn!

Title-The Cupcake Queen
Author- Heather Helper
Rachied Rating- 3 stars
When your name is Penny Lane and your parents are divorced, you end up as the cupcake queen. Somehow. This book is like any other teen book. Girl moves, meets friend, meets boy, falls for the boy, live happily ever after, blah, blah, blah. Please give me something new to read!

Title-Deadly Little Secret
Author- Laurie Stolaz
Rachied Rating- 5 stars!
There's a new boy at Camelia's school. Just a boy kind of like any other boy except rumors say he killed his ex-girlfriend. Which is surprising since right after that, he moves to Camelia's town over the summer and saves Camelia's life!! Ben. the boy, says Camelia's in danger. Camelia finds this hard to believe, especially when she can't find out why every time Ben touches her, she finds it soothing. Camelia also finds pictures of herself with death wishes written on them with blood in her mail box, daily!

Title- Beautiful Creatures
Author- Garcia and Stohl
Rachied Rating- Uno staro!
Why's this book popular? It makes me wish I wrote a book just to top this one. No one should read it. Thanks for listening.

This book is a re-do of Sleeping Beauty...sort of. We all know the author, Alex Flinn for her amazing award winning book- Beastly. However, she's now taken Sleeping Beauty's tale to a whole new level, just like she did with Beauty and the Beast for Beastly. Aurelia has been cursed that she WILL prick her finger on a spindle before her 16th birthday. So, what happens? That exact thing, and now her whole entire kingdom has been asleep for 300 years! This 316 year old princess is now in our world, thanks to be awoken by Jack, a 17 year old boy who just so happened to be visiting Europe, where Aurelia's kingdom is. Aurelia must make Jack fall in love with her before her witch that summoned the spell puts her into another 300 year sleep. Can Aurelia do it? Or will she be a 616 year old princess because of Jack? For years I've hummed and hawed about reading this book. Everyone loves it and it's sequels, so, I finally decided to read it and... I loved it! It's about Chloe, a young teenager who starts seeing ghosts everywhere. After going insane in her school hallways, Chloe is sent to a mental house for girls and boys around her age. While there, she meets a boy named Derek. He never talks to anybody but his sorcerer brother Simon, a Chinese boy whose got the hots for blond Chloe. The brothers say that Chloe can "raise the dead" AKA she's a Necromancer. Are the brothers right? Will Chloe's ghost buddies try to kill her? And what about that freaky girl that's obsessed with Simon, and her roommate that sets people on fire?

Chloe has ran away with her witch buddy Tori. Rae, the girl who sets everything on fire has everyone in the Scientific Industry looking for the girls. Necromancer Chloe and Tori must find Derek and Simon before the Scientists do and turn the teens all into supernatural dead teens. Will Tori and Chloe find the boys, and then the boys' father, who might be able to help them. And what's this new news about Simon having diabetes, and might die in 3 days if his crush Chloe doesn't get him his incline? Read the Awakening to find out!

Got Clique?

Lisi Harrison, the great Clique and now Alphas author, has just summed up all of her Clique novel into one tiny, less than one hundred paged book. Sound interesting? Well, it is~ Don't know what LBR stands for (you are one if you don't know) well, then look it up in the Cliquetionary! Be a GLU- Girl Like Us- and read the Cliquetionary you Clique fans out there!

Just Wander Away

Title- Wondrous Strange
Author- Lesley Livingston
Rachied Rating- One star
Just walk away, because even Tinkerbell wouldn't read it.

Secret? Seriously?

Title- Secret Identity of Devon Delaney
Author- Lauren Barnholdt
Rachied Rating- 3 stars
Your average teen lying her way into popularity. Just like any book out there. Devon lies to some weird chick named Lexie over the summer about being popular. Turns out "Devie" isn't popular, isn't dating the most popular guy (he doesn't even know her name, as a matter of fact), isn't usually called Devie, and isn't best friends with the most popular girl in the school. Personally, I think it's a little to overrated for this to be going on during 7Th grade, but whatever. Read the Secret Life of Devon Delaney, if you dare to be bored some more, that is.

The Lovely Bones

Title- The Lovely Bones
Author- Alice Sebold

Susie has had a wonderful seventies life, no one ever thought of this happening to a little girl back then (even though kids these days worry about it constantly). Susie gets raped and then sliced into little tiny bits. As her dad and younger sister Lindsey try to find her killer, Susie watches her family, friends, love interest, and killer grow up and learn about life without her. The Lovely Bones is now a major motion picture and a number one New York Times Selling book. Read the Lovely Bones, because ,even though it's not that lovely for Susie, it may be a lovely idea for you to read. Read it now!

The Last Book in the Trilogy!

The series may be over, but Gone and the other books in the the Wake Trilogy, will live and stay in our hearts forever! Thank you Lisa McMann for touching our hearts, especially mine. We love you Janie (character in the series)!

Although Gone isn't has good as wake or Fade, you'll love reading about whether or not Janie will choose to become an isolated dream watcher, who shall never see into dreams again, or stay the same way she is, but watch herself go blind and feel nothing. During Janie's decision she goes on a vacation with her boyfriend Cabel and his brother. Janie gets messages (yes, plural) on her phone from her best friend saying that Janie's mom is in the hospital. Janie goes back home, but comes to find out, the person in the hospital isn't her mom, it's her dad, who's she's never met...until now. Janie's father, Henry, has suffered from brain explosion. But, how could this man get a brain explosion, where does he live, and is he really Janie's dad? Will Janie choose her path in her dream career? Find out by reading the very last book in the wake Trilogy...Gone!

Heart breaking!

Title- If I Stay
Author- Gayle Forman
Rachied Rating- 5 stars!
Mia and her family have a day off, so they decide to go to the next town over to visit her parents best friends and their new baby. While driving down the interstate, the car spins out of control, and a huge truck comes smashing into their passenger side of the old car. Next thing you know, the car was stripped of it's outside and seats leaving only the metal frame, Mia's dad's brain's are splattered all over the street, her mom is a purplish-blue color from a sudden heart attack, and Mia's body is covered with blood. One thing Mia in spirit from thinks is that, she's not dead, she's just in a coma. Follow Mia's spirit around on the adventure to see if Mia's body will survive amputations, if her little brother Teddy survived the crash too, and if Mia chooses to stay with her new family, or leave the world with her old one. Read If I Stay, you'll never forget the heart warming, heart breaking story.

HORRIBLE!!

What is up with this book!?! Okay, for one, I hate reading a biography, but this is Stephenie Meyer, so come on, I have to read about my favorite series' author.... right? Well, it's either that her life is extremely boring, or it was the person who wrote this biography's first time. Trust me, I've seen second grader's do better biographies than this! It's like as if Stephenie Meyer's life was totally boring unti l she had her Twilight dream, and then it got a little piped up, and then settled. Plus, in this biography, the author kept going over and over how Stephenie's life will get better after she has her Twilight dream. Hey lady!? Stephenie's never going to have her Twilight dream if you don't stop going over how her life is going to get better once she has it! Have some common sense. So...I admit it, I put down this book after the 16th page, and I don't think I've ever done that for any other book except for this one about dragons and had HUGE coffee stains on every page....but we won't talk about that book. All of you reading this, do NOT buy this biography, even if you're in L-O-V-E with Stephenie Meyer, I bet you her very own husband "Pancho" didn't even buy that biography because it Stunk (that's right, with the capital "S")! This book goes into the rachied one star records!

Hush, Hush

Nora's new biology partner has a scary, but attractive side to him. He won't tell her anything about himself, yet he know every single thing about her, more than what her best friend knows! Patch is everywhere Nora is, and then when the new transfer student, Elliott, takes interest in Nora too, she doesn't know what to do about all of these scary things going on around her. Is Patch, the new biology partner, trying to kill her, or is Elliott, the new transfer with a suspected murder from his old school trying too? Read Hush, Hush, I don't even know why they call it Hush, Hush and I've read the whole book already! Hahaha! Maybe you can find it out for me by reading the book, please?
